Shipping

Hilway by Floorguy Supply ships floor maintenance supplies and equipment to locations within the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska; and to all of Canada. Most items ship from our New Castle, Delaware warehouse in the US. Shipping options vary by delivery location and can be viewed during checkout. To see shipping options, estimated delivery date, and calculate shipping cost in Shopping Cart, select "Shipping: Add Info", choose country, and fill in postal code.

Orders are processed Monday-Friday with the exception of major US Holidays or severe weather events. Orders typically ship next business day after the order is placed, with some exceptions. Keep in mind, when requesting next day or second day shipping option, that orders typically ship out next business day. If expedited shipping or a need-by date is required, contact Customer Support via email or telephone to find out if faster handling is possible. We are often able to accommodate these requests. Most orders ship via UPS or USPS to locations within the United States including Hawaii and Alaska, and all of Canada. Items that drop ship from locations other than our New Castle, DE warehouse may use other carriers. Orders that ship on pallet(s) will ship via common carrier. Tracking information is provided for all shipping methods.

Shipping options, cost and estimated delivery date can be viewed in the shopping cart, prior to checkout. Shipping cost is based on several factors including weight, size, packaging and distance package will travel. Shipping options may be limited by delivery location. Shipping restrictions apply to some floor care items in our store due to the nature of the products. Shipping limitations will be evident in the shipment options offered at checkout.

Freight shipments requiring special delivery instructions, wait time for delivery driver, or lift-gate may incur costs in addition to the published shipping rate. Include this information in your order as customer is responsible for such additional charges.


Shipments to locations in the US:

Delivery options are shown at checkout. Transit options include UPS Ground, UPS 3-Day Select, UPS 2-Day, UPS Next Day Service, UPS Sure Post, United States Postal Service (USPS) First Class or Priority Mail. Shipping options may be limited by delivery location or by item.


Shipments to Canada ship ONLY via UPS Standard:

It takes two days transit time to Fort Erie plus the time it takes UPS to ship to your Province and deliver to customer address. The estimated delivery date provided during checkout takes this extra transport time into account when the ship to address is entered correctly. Delays may occur due to major US or Canadian holidays and during extreme weather conditions that include storms or freezing temperatures. See **Winter Shipping Advisory. Shipping options may be limited by delivery location or by item.

Canadian customers pay "Landed Cost". Shipping/Landed charges are calculated in the shopping cart when you enter your shipping address during the first part of the checkout process. You will see the total cost of your order, including shipping cost and will not be charged additional fees or taxes for delivery in Canada. We are able to offer our Canadian customers a "Landed Cost" because we are a Non-Resident importer to Canada. All customs duties, brokerage fees and Goods and Services Taxes (GST) are included in the shipping price and paid by us. There is no Provincial Sales Tax (PST) under this arrangement.


Backordered Product:

A Customer Support team member will reach out via email and/or telephone if items(s) on your order will not ship out on the expected date due to a product backorder. In the event that an order is partially backordered, the order will be held to ship complete until the backordered product is available. If you prefer to have items ship to you as they are available, include this note on your order or contact customer support via email or call (877)356-6748 with this request and we will honor it. A customer may incur additional shipping charges when an order partially ships and backordered item(s) ship at a later date. This will be communicated when partial shipping is requested.


Packaging Information:

At Hilway by Floorguy Supply, we do our best to ship floor cleaning and care product to our customers in good condition without leaks or damages. Since most of the items are liquids, we must package the products we sell with adequate padding, durable cartons and securely sealed caps to minimize impact to bottles and reduce spills during transit. This commitment to quality provides our customers with a better experience and has resulted in our damage rate being less than 1%! Try as we might, damage does occasionally happen while a package is in transit. If you receive a damaged item, contact us right away with your order number, name and contact phone number or email address. We may ask a few questions about the damage. We may request photos of the damaged product and packing materials. Your damaged items will be re-shipped as appropriate.

The Floorguy Supply warehouse continuously makes an effort to improve the way we prepare products to ship by evaluating different packing materials that are better for the environment, use more sustainable materials or reduce waste. We implement the use of new packaging whenever we find a way to improve upon our current process while maintaining protection and quality of the products being purchased by our customers.

 

**Winter Shipping Advisory:

Orders that contain 'DO NOT FREEZE' items, may be delayed leaving our warehouse during autumn and winter seasons when temperatures fall below freezing. This applies, but is not limited, to floor finishes and cleaner-maintainers. You will be notified via email if your order is delayed due to frigid temperatures. Heat packs are included in shipments as appropriate. Shipping delays happen when transit time are extended due to a weekend and heat pack will not withstand the timeframe. Most weather delayed orders will ship on a Monday. Some items have limited shipping options and may not ship to remote northern locations due to extreme cold weather.
